Get out is a very detailed movie that will make you question a lot of things in life. Some things will only be recognized after a second or third watch. I watched this movie when it first came out and then again when we went over it in class. The second time I was able to look closer and see more than I did the first time. Our group chose to analyze the scene where Chris took a picture of Andre with the flash on.
This scene stood out to us as a group because we saw it as one of the turning points for Chris. He realized something was wrong at this point. He had many different realizations throughout the movie, but this one had the most meaning to me. You could see the blue tints in this scene and everyone around them getting scared at this point. It's almost as if they were scared to blow their cover in-front of him. I also liked this scene because it incorporated the title of the movie and showed what the title really meant.
