I have watched many different movies ranging from sci-fi to horror to comedy, but I have not seen a better movie than prisoners. It combines great actors like Jake Gyllenhaal and Hugh Jackman to create a suspenseful masterpiece. It's based on a missing child story and has the audience guessing the whole time on who the kidnapper is.
This is one of the few movies that I can watch multiple times and still feel the suspense. One of my favorite scenes from the movie is when Hugh Jackman character goes on a rampage in the bathroom with the person he believes to be the kidnapper. The first time I watched this movie it was with my parents and it showed me how far my parents would go to get me back if I was in this scenario. I could see my perspective of this movie changing later in life when I have my own family and hear stories like this. Overall I think this is a cinematic masterpiece with all of the camera angles and the plot and would highly recommend.
